Tattiemoon is Scotland’s leading independent production company for pre-school television and this year celebrates its tenth birthday.
Having created the BAFTA award winning Balamory for the BBC, producers Helen Doherty and Brian Jameson went onto found Tattiemoon in 2005 and have developed and produced a number of successful shows including the ever popular live action drama Me too! and more recently the live action/CGI series Woolly and Tig – both of which can be found regularly on the CBeebies channel.
Tattiemoon strives to create and produce properties that will engage and entertain young children whilst providing a questioning and enriching awareness of the world around them.
Brian Jameson is RADA trained and has worked for many years as an actor on stage and screen before becoming an established face on children’s television. Moving on he directed and produced for the BBC and others and has written extensively for TV. He creates, develops, writes and directs for Tattiemoon.
Helen Doherty graduated from Drama School and began working in television learning her craft across a variety of genres within several organisations as Production Manager, Producer and Director. She looks after business, programme and commercial management for Tattiemoon.
